ZBA Meeting Minutes

Meeting began at 2:05:
Members Present: Fred Chapman, Dean Amidon Vice-Chairperson, Cynthia Weber, Robert Gauthier (Clerk), and Robert Lazzarini
The meeting was called to order at 2:05pm. A motion was made by Fred Chapman to elect Cynthia Weber as the new Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals; this motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
A motion was made by Robert Lazzarini to elect Dean Amidon as the Vice-Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals; this motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
A motion was made by Robert Lazzarini to elect Robert Gauthier as the Clerk of the Zoning Board of Appeals; this motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
The board then discussed running an ad in a local newspaper announcing that they are looking for interested candidates to serve as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for a five year term. Robert Lazzarini will provide the text of the ad to M. Noe.
The application process was reviewed and the board decided that Cynthia Weber would be available to review plans submitted for all items required. The board also asked that a statement be added to the application that all applicants are strongly urged to meet with the Board of Health, Conservation Commission and Planning Boards prior to submitting their application to the ZBA to fix any problems those boards may have prior to their hearing. The board also voted four to one in favor of raising the application fee from $100.00 to $200.00.
